ARPAPLUS merged two genres here and the merge is genuinely useful. Instead of picking a gown from a rail, you paint one — clothes, skin, hair and makeup are all fillable areas, and the palette includes glitter and gradient fills as well as flat colour.

Gradients are the feature worth knowing about. A gradient across a gown does something no flat colour can, and because both figures are paintable, a gradient shared between the couple ties them together in a way that matching flat shades never quite manages.

Backgrounds are swappable and change how everything reads, so it is worth choosing one early rather than at the end. The session has no fail state and no timer — it ends when the picture is finished.

1. Choose the background first; it sets what your colours will sit against.
2. Fill the large areas — gown and suit — before the small ones.
3. Try a gradient on at least one large area.
4. Finish with hair, skin and makeup detail.

Use one gradient across both figures. It is the cheapest way to make a couple look like a couple, and flat colours cannot produce the same connection no matter how carefully they are matched.
