Animegao Kigurumi DIY
Build the mask first, then the costume: an animegao character assembled from the face outward.

Animegao is a real costuming practice — a stylised mask worn to embody an anime character — and DL-studio built the game around its actual sequence. The mask comes first and everything else is chosen to serve it.
That order matters more here than in any other title on this page. The mask has a fixed expression and a fixed palette, and unlike a face it cannot be adjusted later to suit an outfit. Building the costume first and the mask second produces a mismatch that nothing downstream can fix.
The wardrobe that follows is rich enough to support several directions from the same mask, which is the reason to run the game twice. The same face under two different costumes reads as two different characters, which is more or less the point of the practice.
Controls
Design the mask in the first panel, then move to makeup, outfit and accessories.
How to Play
- Design the mask completely before opening anything else.
- Note its expression and palette — both are now fixed.
- Choose makeup and outfit that answer the mask.
- Finish with accessories, then try a second costume on the same mask.
Tips & Tricks
Treat the mask as unchangeable once it is done. Its expression is fixed, so every costume decision afterwards has to work with the face you already committed to.
