DL-studio took a simple premise — the usual royal wardrobe replaced with a witch’s — and got a genuinely different styling problem out of it. Robes hang differently from gowns, pointed hats change the whole vertical proportion of the figure, and the makeup rows are festive rather than formal.
The tension the game plays with is how far to go. Keep too much of the royal register and the costume looks like a gown with a hat on top; go too far and the character is unrecognisable as royalty at all. The interesting looks sit between those, and the accessory rows are where that balance actually gets struck.
Footwear is offered as shoes or boots, which sounds trivial and is not — boots pull the whole silhouette toward the costume end and shoes keep it closer to formalwear.
