A full transformation sequence: clean-up first, then a spa session, then styling once the character is restored.
SisiGames built this as three stages, and the first two are not styling at all. The character arrives scraped up from flying badly — leaves and dirt to clear away — and only then does the spa sequence begin, working through the skin until the transformation is possible.
Making the player earn the wardrobe is an old trick and it works here for a simple reason: by the time the clothing rows open, you have spent several minutes on the same face and you notice the difference the outfit makes. A game that opened on the wardrobe would not produce that.
The final stage is conventional — gowns, hairstyles, accessories — and deliberately so. It is the payoff rather than the puzzle, and the hairstyle rows are where most of the remaining variation lives.
