Two characters, and both of them are making their swimwear rather than picking it off a shelf. The loop runs fabric, then pattern, then cutting, then assembly — and only after all four steps do you get to the styling rows that most of the genre opens with.
The cutting stage is the one that separates this from a straight wardrobe title. It is forgiving, but it is a real step with a real result: the same fabric under a different pattern produces a visibly different piece, and that is the reason to run the game twice.
Once both suits exist, the accessory rows — wraps, sunglasses, sandals, hair — turn it back into a styling game. The two halves are quite different in pace, and the second one is short by comparison.

Pick a small-scale print. Large repeats get cut through by the pattern stage and lose their shape on a garment this size, which is only visible after the piece is assembled.
